Article 32: The Crash Site

In my career as an energy healer and a shaman I have worked with many clients who have with PTSD,

In one case I was working on a US soldier who has been trying to heal his mental and physical health since the 70's

The modern-day combo of talk therapy + drugs gets a failing grade when it comes to helping people recover from trauma.

They are great at getting people to lead themselves back to the source of their suffering, but then what?

"Take these pills and I'll see you next week."

They are exposing them to the trauma of the wound that they have been trying to avoid by any means possible and then giving them no mechanisms to deal with it.

They provide no mental tools to sort out the mind and the soul with.

They don't teach daily practices that they can use to grow their mental strength.

It may help some, but it makes a bigger mess of things in the majority of cases that I work with.

You can't rip the wound open and leave it. It needs a step-by-step healing practice in place before you even take someone there.

They are bringing people back to the crash site and leaving them there to stare at the smoldering crater.

I am shocked by the system of mental health.

The fact that they celebrate the madness of the cocaine dealer Sigmund Freud as genius, should tell a person all that they need to know about the foundations it is built upon.

I am out here fixing the mess they leave behind.

In just 14 days of working with me, my client is finding peace within his thoughts for the first time in over 50 years.

Why doesn't the system see what I see?
