Article 40: The Bad Actors

There is a lot of spiritual immaturity going on out there.

You can spot them by how they talk about themselves and others.

They will tell you all about how enlightened they are.

They will tell you in great detail how this world and the spirit world works and what is in store for us all, as if it were the only way of thinking that should be considered.

Spirituality is not a conversation with them; it is a one-way broadcast.

They will brag about all the inner work they have done.

They will sound impressive, but watch how they talk about others.

Listen to hear how they speak towards you.

Their ego will usually show itself quite readily.

It is essential to be confident. If I don't believe I can help someone to heal, I surely will not succeed.

Arrogance is based in fear. If I brag about my spirituality, I am telling you that I am afraid that you won't accept me and my experiences as is.

It's great to share the wins and let others know what we are capable of, but there is a fine line between sharing and boasting.

For the first 12 years of my professional healing practice, I never posted a thing about it on here.

I hardly told anyone a thing about it.

I had a little website and people found me when they needed to.

I would never talk about the shamanic parts of my work and I would never call myself a, "shaman."

It was everyone else who coined me this. It was friends and family and clients that insisted I share my shamanic experiences with the world.

Now the switch has flipped and tide is running in the opposite direction.

I am on a mission to share what I have learned through my many years of extensive practice.

This means that I am going to need to step out onto the stage in a big way, (boy-oh-boy, how I have I resisted this)

As much as I talk about my work and my interpretations and perceptions of it all, I always point out that it is not me that makes the magic happen.

I supply the intention and the focus and the desire to help people heal, the Universe supplies the rest.

Be selective in who you trust your mental, physical and spiritual health to.

Ask for references.

Watch them closely and listen to their words.

Make sure their words and actions align.

There are many out there who practice through their heart.

You will see their compassion in their eyes.

You will hear their sincerity when they speak about others.

You will feel their genuine desire to help.

The most skilled practitioners that I have the utmost respect for, are humble to the core.

They are powerful beings, because Universe rewards their humility with the knowledge and wisdom that boosts their abilities to incredible levels.

We were all born with the amazing ability to heal ourselves and others.

I just fell in love with it as a boy and practiced it every day.

That eventually evolved into choosing it as a career path.

If you practice anything every day, you are going to get good at it.

I am no more special than you are.

We are all walking, talking miracles, armed with endless potential.

We got this.
