Article 37: Our Time and Energy are Currency

How many of us spend our time and energy on people who don't care to take the time to understand us?

Some of these people can be family members, or old friends, who we have outgrown as we move along our spiritual journey.

It can be a difficult decision to make, but we have to spend less time in old relationships that no longer fit with what we seek in life.

I believe in live-and-let-live and that everyone is free to perceive life in any manner that they choose, but I need the same respect in return.

The spiritual path as an energy healer, or a shamanic practitioner, or any type of spiritual healer, is the road less travelled. It can be difficult to find the like-minded types to share and grow with.

My awakening was a lonely event. The crew I grew up with couldn't spell spirituality let alone wrap their heads around it. lol

I still respect their journey, but they are no longer my tribe.

Each day I ask the universe to put the very best people on my path so that I can have what I call, "The Great Exchange."

The great exchange happens when I get to share my experiences along my spiritual path, without needing the other person to believe as I do.

We learn from each other and grow, as a direct result of the time invested in the relationship.

I went from having zero magical friends in the beginning, to developing a wonderful set of magical buddies who enrich my life beyond my expectations.

Don't be afraid to let old ties wither, because when we do, we make room for the like-minded to appear.

We don't need to ignore old ties completely; I just don't make the same investment in them as I once did.

We got this.
